The sparkling Venezuelan-born, Yeniffer Behrens has amassed a prolific career as an accomplished actress and has expanded her talents and abilities as a director, producer and philanthropist. Yeniffer (pronounced as Jeniffer), has starred in numerous films, commercials and television shows. The international beauty guest-starred in a recurring role as Marianna, in the long-running ABC classic daytime series General Hospital. On another occasion, she also guest-starred as Jacinda on GH. Yeniffer also garnered guest-starring roles in many other television series, including C.S.I., Desperate Housewives, Nip/Tuck, J.A.G., Boston Legal and In Plain Sight.
Yeniffer made her feature film debut in The Specialist, with Sylvester Stallone. Her big break came soon after when she landed the starring role, opposite Timothy Bottoms, as the title character in the controversial film Angel Blue. Her many film roles since then include her work with Will Smith and Rosario Dawson in the film Seven Pounds, helmed by acclaimed director Gabriele Muccino. Other films include A Day Without A Mexican, Trapped In Perfection, Confessions Of A Gangster and Decisions. Yeniffer also delivered powerful co-starring performances in the films, Counterpunch, Unknowns, The Shifting and the comedy Taco Shop, co-starring Danny Trejo.
Yeniffer has been proving herself behind the camera as well. She served as Producer and/or Executive Producer in the films Taco Shop, Unknowns and the soon to be released Homebound. Under the moniker of her very own production company, True Form Films, Yeniffer is honing her skills as a Director and Producer. She is in post-production of her heart-wrenching documentary Create Option C, which followed actress Lourdes Colon as she travailed through her near death battle with cancer. Yeniffer is clearly a promising filmmaker. She recently starred in while serving as Producer/Executive Producer in the feature film After School, a gripping and timely film about a young boy that we learn is trapped in a world of child abuse and slavery. Clearly, Yeniffer Behrens is a triple-threat whose star continues to rise and expand.
